Achievements

Two teams of students from FOAS participated in the Microbes Invention Innovation and Ideation Challenge (MINIC) 2023 organised by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on 18 November 2023. One team won the second prize while the other won the Bronze award in the Undergraduate category.

A number of teams consisting of FOAS students won the WATSON & TAR UMT Youth Empowerment & Sustainability Program (YES) 2023 Competition on 5 October 2023. Two teams won the first and second placings in the Go Empowerment category while another won second placing in the Go Green category.

Sports Science students won best presenter awards and  young investigator awards in AgileMAS Research in High Performance Colloquium 2022, 24 & 25 August 2022

Student won best poster presentation in Perdana International Conference 2021, 17 & 18 November 2021

Student won for Senior Category in National Biotechnology Case Competition 2021, 16 August 2021 to 1 October 2021

Chuah Hui Qian as the consolation prize recipient of Young Investigator Award in YSN-ASM International Scientific Virtual Conference 2021, 29 March  2021 to 1 April 2021

Bioscience with Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry emerged as first prize winner in the Worldwide WMAM-ISWA YPG Sustainability Video Award 2020, 17 August 2020

3 students won gold awards and 5 students won silver awards in inal Year Project & Postgraduate Poster Competition (FYPPPC) and Thesis in 5 minutes (T5M) Competition organized by MNNF Network on 30 June 2020

Diploma in Science students won second prize and consolation prize in Worldwide WMAM-ISWA YPG Sustainability Video Award 2019, 31 July 2019
